ANIMALS & EXHIBITS: Mystic Aquarium is home to over 300 species of marine mammals, fish, birds, invertebrates, and reptiles. We also have a range of interactive and educational exhibits, including touch tanks that let you get up close and personal with sharks, rays, and invertebrates, our Ocean Solutions gallery that helps you learn how to protect our oceans, immersive VR experiences, and so much more. With so much to do and see, Mystic Aquarium provides hours of fun for the whole family.
LEARN: Mystic Aquarium is committed to inspiring the next generation of ocean ambassadors. That’s why we welcome thousands of students on field trips every year. But field trips are just the beginning! Mystic Aquarium offers educational programs and activities for learners of all ages! Our programs include inquiry-based teaching and hands-on activities to help guests appreciate the marine environment, develop an understanding of value of our oceans and their animals, and inspire them to conservation action.
RESEARCH & CONSERVATION: Mystic Aquarium is, at its foundation, a research, conservation, and education institution. We conduct critical research to advance our knowledge about marine life. We engage with experts from leading organization and institutions from around the world to establish science-based marine conservation efforts.
