Griswold, CT (Oct. 11, 2023) - Griswold High School announced today that the Griswold Drama program will present the play A Knight in My Locker by Christopher Burruto on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11, 2023. The two shows will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the GHS Auditorium at 267 Slater Avenue, Griswold, CT 06351. The event is open to the public. Tickets are available through the Griswold Drama website and at the door for $10.00. Veterans are invited to attend for free in honor of Veterans Day.

The 90-minute play is a comedic fantasy that follows Princess Tuesday from the kingdom of Aragonia in the Middle Ages to a modern-day middle school, where she enlists the help of students to save her kingdom. On the way, the students outwit teachers, bullies, and Aragonian bad guys to save her subjects in this time-bending comedy.

A Knight in My Locker features 17 students on stage and 3 behind the scenes, and is directed by Griswold High School English Teacher Timothy Moore. This will be Moore’s 22nd fall play at GHS. “This is going to be a light-hearted and fun play that has a little something for everyone,” said Moore.
