StoneHurst at Hampton Valley is a unique spot nestled on a 90+ acres of land with not just one but TWO amazing venues.
The Mansion at StoneHurst and The Barns at StoneHurst are two different venues for two different types of couples on their special day.
Each venue comes with their own parking lot, ceremony site and bridal/grooms suites – we believe that no bride should see another on their special day and we have worked extremely hard to ensure we keep it that way.
If you wish to be the only wedding on property that day, that is also available with our Full Buyout option! This is where you use the mansion suites to get ready, enjoy cocktail hour in our mansion and then trolley ride down to the barns for an evening of dinner and dancing!
Testimonials:
"StoneHurst was a great place to host our wedding! Everyone we interacted with (Jenna, Chloe, Samantha, Siara) leading up to the day were kind and informative. The biggest "green flag" for us in picking StoneHurst for our wedding was the transparency in pricing. I had emailed Jenna prior to touring for a rough quote, and after touring and selecting our exact package, the final quote almost perfectly matched that initial rough quote - no hidden fees or added surprise costs...Would highly recommend!" -E
"Stonehurst at Hampton Valley hosted our son’s wedding, and everything was truly beyond perfect. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Chloe, the wedding coordinator, was phenomenal—she paid attention to every little detail and made sure the day ran smoothly. Her organization and calm presence made all the difference. The staff was equally impressive: friendly, professional, and incredibly thorough in everything they did. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or well-executed event. I highly recommend Stonehurst to anyone planning a wedding or special event—you will be in the best hands." -J
"Very nice service, tasty dinner, nice hall for a wedding and more" -G
"Jenna, Sam, and the rest of the team absolutely blew their service out of the water! We got married in May 2025 and chose to do the full buyout option, which was so worth it! They did an absolutely phenomenal job with taking care of set up, break down, and everything else in between. The food was amazing, the property is incredibly gorgeous, and all of the staff were kind and professional. We had so many guests say how much they loved it there and I am so thrilled we chose to go with Stonehurst for our special day!" -M
Once hosting a secret party for the cast of The Sopranos to avoid Paparazzi, Tamarack Lodge is a hidden gem dating back to the 1700’s. The 28 acres of land have been home to various businesses including a blacksmith shop, a water-powered wagon wheel mill, a tree farm and then a popular vacation resort in the 1940’s. Industrial gears are still visible in the main buildings’ ceilings and what were once large chicken coops turned into cabins. The resort attracted vacationers from New York and Boston looking for a retreat from the city hussle and bussle.
The lodge hosts dinners and pub nights, weddings, retreats, concerts, festivals, camping, and summer camps. Multiple safari tents have been purchased for guests to enjoy glamping, and the existing cabins are being completely renovated.
In addition, Tamarack Lodge serves as an event venue and career training center for students enrolled at the Connecticut Coastal Academy and neighboring districts. The center also provides vocational opportunities and instruction in carpentry through the Home Builders Institute program, landscaping, hospitality, culinary arts including ServSafe certification, and other occupations and workplace-related skills.
Accommodations are available for large and small weddings and private events indoors and outdoors, as well as throughout all four seasons.
