Sprague CT Recreation Commission is always looking for volunteers to assist with community events and activities.

Are you looking for a way to get more involved in the community or have community service hours to complete? We meet the last Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Court Room of the Town Hall to assemble the Our Town Newsletter and we are always looking for extra help; even if it's for one hour. COME BY! Any time you can give would be appreciated. We have snacks and welcome anyone who wants to lend a hand. Good storytellers and poets especially welcome! The Voluntown Recreation Commission is to seek the development of recreational programs and enhancement of recreational facilities associated with sponsored programs. Voluntown is our home and all Recreation Commission Members are dedicated to keeping our town a great place to live. Our commission welcomes all Voluntown Citizens to come and join us at our meetings.

Our goal is to create a public place for residents and visitors to be able to stay up to date on local events and information supported by the Voluntown Recreation Commission. We appreciate you sharing, commenting and being an active member of the
Voluntown Recreation Facebook Page.

The Voluntown Recreation Commission has added a Disc Golf Course to the field behind the library and town hall. Disk Golf is a fun outdoor activity that can be enjoyed all year long. No disc golf equipment? No problem! The Voluntown Public Library has a disc golf pack that you can check out!

The Montville Recreation Department offers a range or classes, programs and special events for the entire community. Whether you’re 2 or 102 you will find something you can take part in. The Department also schedules the fields at Camp Oakdale, the Large Pavilion and the classrooms at the Montville Community Center (previously Fair Oaks Community Center).

Description of Services:  The Recreation Department offers a full range of recreational activities for children and adults. The department is also responsible for maintaining and managing all city owned sports / playing fields, courts, and facilities.

Registration:  We are now offering a FREE online registration services!

There is a drop box located right next to the main door for after hour registrations. Registrations will not be completed unless a payment is made. We accept check, debit/credit, and money orders ONLY; debit/credit can be taken over the phone or online. *We are now offering FREE online registration services!

Preston Parks & Recreation Mission Statement:
To develop, provide and maintain publicly accessible recreation facilities, parks and programs to be used in a safe and nondiscriminatory manner. It is our belief that these facilities, parks and programs are to be made available to all Preston residents. 

Programs & Services:
Preston Parks and Recreation Department was created in 1968 to provide parks and recreation programs and services for our town. We offer year-round activities for pre-school and school-aged children, youth, adults and seniors. Our department is responsible for oversight, scheduling and maintenance of Preston's park and athletic facilities.
