Sprague CT Recreation Commission is always looking for volunteers to assist with community events and activities. Are you looking for a way to get more involved in the community or have community service hours to complete? We meet the last Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Court Room of the Town Hall to assemble the Our Town Newsletter and we are always looking for extra help; even if it's for one hour. COME BY! Any time you can give would be appreciated. We have snacks and welcome anyone who wants to lend a hand. Good storytellers and poets especially welcome! The Voluntown Recreation Commission is to seek the development of recreational programs and enhancement of recreational facilities associated with sponsored programs. Voluntown is our home and all Recreation Commission Members are dedicated to keeping our town a great place to live. Our commission welcomes all Voluntown Citizens to come and join us at our meetings. Our goal is to create a public place for residents and visitors to be able to stay up to date on local events and information supported by the Voluntown Recreation Commission. The department is also responsible for maintaining and managing all city owned sports / playing fields, courts, and facilities. Registration: We are now offering a FREE online registration services! There is a drop box located right next to the main door for after hour registrations. Registrations will not be completed unless a payment is made. Programs & Services: Preston Parks and Recreation Department was created in 1968 to provide parks and recreation programs and services for our town. We offer year-round activities for pre-school and school-aged children, youth, adults and seniors.
