Our chapter was formed in 2000 based on a grassroots initiative of Human Resource professionals to create a resource for professional development and networking in Eastern Connecticut.
Our boundaries are flexible and include anyone who works or lives in Eastern Connecticut or Western Rhode Island, from Middlesex County, New London County, Windham County and Southwestern Rhode Island.
Our chapter meetings are generally held in the New London County area. Over the years, HRLA has become a thriving organization. Our membership has grown to over 200 members spanning across 50 different towns in CT and RI, and touch over 20 different industries and over 100 different companies
