With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, he was trained by several educators including the late Paul Mitchell, renowned stylist Frederic Fekkai and colorist Beth Minardi. Antenna Salon, established in 1992 under JD’s direction, has been a regional leader in the beauty industry for professional hair, nail and skin care since its inception and the salon’s work has been published in national salon styling publications. JD is certified by DevaCurl to cut curly hair. JD has worked in the movie and music industry as stylist to a galaxy of stars including Mariah Carey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brooke Shields and Isabella Rossellini and others; has judged regional and national dance, beauty and talent pageants; and is currently an official judge for the Miss Connecticut organization. His salon, Antenna, is currently the official salon of the Miss Connecticut Pageant. He looks forward to welcoming you to the Antenna Salon experience.
